3D-SVS at RomeCup 2012

RomeCup 2012The 6th edition of the RomeCup, a robotic competition will take place
at the Città Educativa (Via del Quadrato,102, Rome) from March, 21th
to 23th.

High schools, academic and companies research centers launch the
challenge for technological and social innovation in Robotics.

3D SuperVision Systems and the Università Politecnica delle Marche will show some reasearch and
educational projects at the demonstration area.

We will held a serie of educational workshops for high school students on March 21th, from 10am to 5pm.
The main aim of the workshop is to provide high schools students the tools to succesfully approach the
graphical programming in robotics.


Main topics of the workshop are:

  • Basics in NI LabVIEW graphical programming
  • LabVIEW Add-on for LEGO® MINDSTORMS® NXT for Robot programming
  • 3Dmicro Toolkit for NI LabVIEW for robot on-board PIC32 microcontroller programming
  • Mobile ground and aerial autonomous robots along will also be presented.
    Students can immediatly try what they have just learnt during the workshop
